Exciting Plans for the Women’s Fund of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire Women’s Initiative

The Women’s Fund of New Hampshire and New Hampshire Women’s Initiative are pleased to share they plan to merge the two organizations by the end of 2014. With nearly 100 years of shared history, the united organization will be stronger in its shared mission: to promote opportunity and equality for women and girls through research, education, grant-making, and advocacy.

As part of this new chapter, Marianne Jones, current Executive Director of the Women’s Fund, has decided to retire from her position and move on to her next adventure. We want to thank Marianne for her 11 successful years of leading this work, and for her dedication that has made this merger possible. We are grateful for her continued leadership.

We are currently seeking a President to lead this new organization. This is a compelling opportunity for the right candidate—who will be instrumental in forging the vision and work of the new organization—to join us and help improve the status of women and girls in New Hampshire. Help us spread the word! Please share the job description with your friends and networks. Deadline for applications is Monday, August 18, 2014.

We thank you for your continued support, and hope to see you on October 16 at the Radisson hotel in Manchester for our 10th annual Women Building Community Luncheon: Challenging Stereotypes with Jennifer Siebel Newsom. We will officially announce the merger at this event, where we can celebrate and embark on this new venture together!
