Description

The New Hampshire Food Bank is currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a full-time (40 hours/week) SNAP Nutrition Incentive Coordinator. The SNAP Nutrition Incentive Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with the Nutrition Programs Manager and NH Nutrition Incentive Network Coordinator to provide network support, Nutrition Incentive site location support, expansion of the program, and increaseawareness of the New Hampshire Gus Schumacher Nutrition Incentive Programs; Granite State Market Match (GSMM) and Double Up Food Bucks (DUFB).. This position is also tasked with organizing monthly NH Nutrition Incentive Network meetings and collaborating with NHNIN regional leads and other community organizations to support outreach regionally and statewide.

Duties

• Effectively communicate needs and goals with network regional leads in partnership with NH Nutrition Incentive Network Coordinator

• Facilitate monthly meetings and regularly scheduled meetings with nutrition incentive network partners and community organizations.

Develop monthly newsletters that connect the community with opportunities for collaboration or engagement with the local food system.

Identify GSMM and DUFB gap areas and identify and determine opportunities for expansion

• Initiate and develop relationships with new GSMM & DUFB program sites

• Train and schedule new sites on the process and administration of Granite State Market Match and Double Up Food Bucks

• Support work of SNAP Outreach Plan and be involved the work and its goals. 

• 

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of proven work experience required 

• A college degree preferred

• Community Food and Nutrition experience preferred

• Possess the ability to allow for compassion and dignity while working with low income audiences.

• Ability to communicate well both orally and in written form

• Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record and ability to travel throughout the state

• Proficient in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel and Outlook)

• Willing to work some evenings and weekends as needed
