About the Job

Description

Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for a full-time Project Evaluator to join our Team! The Project Evaluator works closely with Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives/CCBHC Project Director and both administrative and clinical leadership to develop and implement an evaluation plan. The Project Evaluator for the CCBHC Grant works with cross-functional teams from various departments to gather, analyze, and prepare reports, presentations, metrics, and dashboards. CCBHC (Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic) is a SAMHSA grant-funded program aimed at transforming community behavioral health systems and providing comprehensive, coordinated behavioral health care.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Conducting NOMS and assessments at enrollment and every six months.
  • Obtains consent and conducts research interviews with project participants.
  • Schedules all assessment interviews and follows up if appointments are missed.
  • Handles compensation of study participants for completion of assessments.
  • Evaluates the validity of data; obtains verification through further interview or research for any responses considered to be questionable.
  • Provides linkage and communications with evaluation team and program staff at site.
  • Provides feedback to investigators on study instruments. Identifies and reports on problem areas that become evident such as vagueness, inefficiency, redundancy, etc.
  • Collaborates with research team in data analysis phase of study; responding to questions regarding the meaning of data collected and recommending on how specific responses should be categorized.
  • Assists the CCBHC Project Director at the site in tracking progress of the study.
  • Attends and participates in research staff meetings and supervision.
  • Conducts medical laboratory reviews to gather data on health indices (e.g., cholesterol, HbA1C, service use).
  • Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Mental Health or related field
  • 1 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Background in human services or social services
  • Prior experience with research and/or interviewing preferred.
  • Previous project-related work involving complex scheduling and communications is preferred.
  • Experience working with people with serious mental illness.
  • A basic understanding of research procedures.
  • Familiarity with the basics of data management.
  • Ability to relate to and successfully interview project participants.
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments.
  • Ability to exercise judgment.
