The New Hampshire Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) is an independent state authority that makes matching grants to NH communities and non-profits to conserve and preserve New Hampshire's most important natural, cultural and historic resources. Through this investment Program every $1 in resources brings back more than four times local, private, federal funds, and helps to secure NH's greatest business advantage: The quality of life and traditional values of our state.
LCHIP works in partnership with New Hampshire municipalities and non-profits to acquire land and cultural resources, or interests therein, with local, regional and statewide significance. The legislatively mandated mission of the program is to ensure the perpetual contribution of these resources to the economy, environment and quality of life in New Hampshire.
About the Job
Operations Manager – Part-time (20-29 hours/week)
The New Hampshire Land and Community Heritage Investment Program (LCHIP) seeks a highly organized and proactive individual to join its small, high-performing team as a part-time Operations Manager. In addition to general office management, including light bookkeeping, the operations manager is tasked with managing the program’s database and coordinating the logistical requirements of each phase of the annual grant cycle.
This position offers a unique opportunity to support a mission-driven organization dedicated to preserving New Hampshire’s natural, cultural, and historic resources. The ideal candidate will find satisfaction in ensuring program operations run efficiently; anticipating needs, keeping the team organized and on track, and supporting staff and grantees throughout the grant cycle.
