About Us
Victoria’s Victory Foundation is a non-profit dedicated to helping those living with mobility disabilities caused by spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, stroke, CP, MS, and rare diseases. We seek a dynamic Marketing and Operations Specialist to support our branding and outreach efforts and ensure the smooth functioning of daily operations.
Job Overview
The Marketing and Operations Specialist will be key in increasing awareness of our mission through strategic marketing initiatives while providing essential operational support to enhance organizational efficiency. This position requires a versatile individual with experience in digital marketing, event coordination, administrative tasks, and operational logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications
- Collaborate to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the organization’s programs, events, and fundraising campaigns.
- Manage social media platforms, create content, and track engagement metrics.
- Maintain and update the organization’s website and email newsletters.
- Assist in developing promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, and press releases.
- Collaborate with community partners, media outlets, and stakeholders to enhance visibility.
- Track marketing performance using analytics tools and adjust strategies accordingly.
Operations & Administration
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, paying vendors, and donor management.
- Serve as the point of contact for maintaining the team project management software.
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by coordinating with vendors, managing office supplies, and handling logistics.
- Help maintain compliance with nonprofit regulations, including documentation and reporting.
- Support the planning and executing events, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
- Provide general support to staff and volunteers as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or a similar role (nonprofit experience preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management, email marketing platforms (Virtuous, Blackbaud, Constant Contact), and website content management (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace).
- Experience with graphic design tools (Canva).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for nonprofit work and community engagement.
