Job Overview

The Marketing Specialist will be key in increasing awareness of our mission through strategic marketing initiatives while developing and executing marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, support outreach campaigns, and drive engagement with diverse audiences nationwide. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to combine creativity and detail-oriented tasks for execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and help develop multiple marketing plans for various program channels to grow awareness and brand identity.
  • Create compelling content for email, social media, website, and print materials that align with the brand voice and mission.
  • Grow the organization's digital presence, including social media platforms, SEO, and website traffic analytics.
  • Collaborate with program teams to support fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and public education campaigns.
  • Analyze marketing campaign performance and present insights to improve strategies and increase ROI.
  • Support the development of marketing collateral, presentations, and storytelling assets to appeal to target audiences and partners.
  • Assist with event promotion and logistics, including webinars, conferences, and community events.
  • Identify opportunities for community and corporate partnerships, volunteer programs and donor acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or communications, ideally in the nonprofit or social impact sector.
  • Strong writing and content creation skills, with an eye for storytelling.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools, platforms (e.g., Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite), and social media management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the mission and an understanding of the nonprofit landscape.
  • Creative thinker with a collaborative spirit and problem-solving mindset.
  • Must live with a positive mindset and bring enthusiasm to the role.
