About the Organization

Family Promise serves a unique population of average working families single fathers, single mothers, two-parent families, and veteran families. The program provides these families with the immediate needs of food, clothing, and shelter. The professional staff provides case management, intense financial planning, and budgeting education, career development, job search assistance, employment, and housing resources, and parenting, and family advocacy. A total of 86% of the families completing our program have remained stable and self-sufficient, returning as fully engaged professionals and participants in their communities. Over 50% of our families buy their own homes upon graduating from our program. Children are successful in school and participate in sports and healthy social activities. Ensuring that the needs of homeless children are addressed provides an avenue for children to participate in education, and social interaction as their primary focus, making for a more skilled and educated workforce in the future.

 

Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire relies on volunteerism to support administrative, operational, family service, and advocacy programs. We seek to partner with organizations to enhance volunteer experiences to benefit families in the transition towards independence and self-sufficiency. About the Job

Description

Family Promise of Southern New Hampshire mission, is to end homelessness one family at a time. Through safe housing and education, FPSNH guides families as they break the cycle, and rise from homelessness to sustainable independence. We are seeking a Marketing and Events Director, to lead the marketing, communications and fundraising for the organization. 

Job Summary: The Marketing and Events Director role focuses on developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the mission, programs and services offered by FPSNH. The position plays a vital role in increasing brand awareness, expanding community engagement, and driving fundraising efforts. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop marketing strategies aligned with FPSNH goals and objectives
  • Maintain and enhance FPSNH brand identity
  • Oversee FPSNH online presence including website management, social media and marketing campaigns. Leverage digital platforms to increase engagement, drive traffic, and generate opportunities. 
  • Manage fundraising events and community opportunities, engaging volunteer committees. 
  • Collaborate with FPSNH staff and stakeholders to develop donor communication strategies, and to promote the organization's impact and successes. 
  • Monitor and analyze marketing metrics; utilize data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies and improve overall effectiveness. 

Qualifications: 

  • Advanced experience in marketing, communications, fundraising, and large scale-event planning and execution, preferably in the non-profit sector. 
  • Interest in learning the mission of FPSNH, and the ability to effectively communicate our impact to various stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in website management, social media platforms, and digital marketing tools (i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud, web content management (HTML and CSS), MailChimp, Canva, Microsoft Office).
  • Proven ability to develop creative and innovative marketing programs and launch initiatives.
  • Analytical mindset with the  ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Strong core values, and ability to work as an integral FPSNH team member.
