The Front Door Agency, Inc. for over 35 years has offered support and programs, fostered education to assist families and individuals transition from crisis to self-sufficiency. It is located in Nashua, New Hampshire and has a great reputation of serving families at-risk of homelessness in becoming independent through its Transformational Housing, Housing Stability, Affordable Housing, and Financial Literacy Programs.

Join a team that is passionately committed to advancing the economic opportunity of families in need. The Front Door Agency, Inc. (FDA) is seeking an organized, creative and high energy Housing Administrator to oversee the Agency’s portfolio of income-restricted rental housing.  In this role, the incumbent will work with internal and external partners to collect and review documentation necessary to verify tenant eligibility to reside in FDA residential housing. This dynamic position requires the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions to problems with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Reporting to Director of Housing Programs, the Housing Administrator will be a key member of the Agency’s administrative and direct service team. The key responsibilities include: interviewing prospective tenants, reviewing tenant eligibility, developing leases and addendums, developing marketing plans, maintaining accurate wait lists, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, originate and process tenant notices to include demands for rent, evictions, collection of rental payments, ensuring housing compliance, ensuring the fiscal and operational elements of the housing programs are sound.    

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission of the Front Door Agency, a keen understanding of its programs and goals. The position requires demonstrated experience in housing related matters such as property management, leasing agent, etc.; experience working with vulnerable families and women; have proficiency with Microsoft Office and database management software; demonstrate strong verbal and communication skills.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or Community Resources and being Bilingual are a plus.  

Salary commensurate with experience and range is $53-$62k/annually.
