About the Organization

Bridges: Domestic & Sexual Violence Support provides Crisis Advocacy and Support to Primary and Secondary Victims of Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence and Stalking in the Greater Nashua Area. Our Mission is to cultivate communites free from violence as we support victims and survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. Services are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on our Support Line and also during the day in our Nashua, NH and Milford, NH offices. We also have an emergency shelter and now provide transitional housing to women and children who do not meet the criteria of other housing programs.

About the Job

Description

REACH Crisis Services, formerly a program of the YWCA NH, is in the process of developing into our own free standing 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  This is an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic leader to make a significant impact in providing quality services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence in the Manchester area. 

REACH is seeking an experienced and visionary Executive Director to lead REACH in the next stage of development. REACH Crisis Services provides support services to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and stalking in the Greater Manchester area. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and a proven track record in business development and operations management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a clear vision for the future direction of the organization; uphold and promote the mission. 
  • Build, lead, and retain an effective and diverse staff team dedicated to the mission and with the requisite skills to be successful in their work.
  • Establish effective decision making at all levels to ensure that voices are heard and that short- and long-term goals are met.
  • Oversee programs with an understanding of the communities we serve, and a focus on trauma informed services.
  • Regularly monitor program goals and maintain high quality service provision. 
  • Serve as an effective public spokesperson for the organization, representing it well in its relationship with government officials, business, and community leaders. 
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with community organizations, funders, donors, and other nonprofit organizations. 
  • Maintains the necessary financial, human resources, and operational policies and procedures to keep the organization running smoothly. 
  • Assure adequate control and accounting of all funds, including developing and maintaining sound financial practices.
  • Maintain official records and documents, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and reporting requirements. 
  • Assures that funds are disbursed in accordance with contract requirements and donor.
  • Develop realistic, ambitious fundraising plans. 
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals, ensuring that adequate funds are available to permit the organization to carry out its work.
