About the Organization

Amoskeag Health, formerly Manchester Community Health Center (MCHC), is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) federally qualified health center offering high-quality, comprehensive, and family-oriented primary health care and support services since 1993. Now known as The Dr. Selma Deitch Center for Children and Teens, Child Health Services (CHS) is the original pediatric practice of MCHC dedicated to improving the health and well-being of at-risk children. In June of 2019, all locations of MCHC consolidated under one name, Amoskeag Health. Through all its programs, Amoskeag Health serves over 14,579 patients annually across four locations in Manchester.

This health center receives HHS funding and has Federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.

Primary care, preventive care, outreach and enabling services at Amoskeag Health are supported in part by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the Health Center Cluster grant number H80CS00571. This grant provides approximately 15% of total revenue.

Make an Impact as Our Next Director of Donor Relations!
Manchester, NH | Part-time | Hybrid | Exempt position — up to $50/hour based on experience

Amoskeag Health is a nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) providing high-quality, affordable primary care to our community—ensuring everyone has access to the care they deserve.

We’re seeking a part-time Director of Donor Relations (25–28 hrs/week, flexible-hybrid schedule) to lead our philanthropic strategy, strengthen donor relationships, and advance long-term financial sustainability. This role manages major gifts, annual giving, donor engagement, corporate sponsorships, campaigns, and planned giving—excluding grant writing.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and execute a comprehensive fundraising plan across individual, corporate, and legacy giving.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors and prospective supporters.
  • Oversee donor engagement strategies, recognition, and database management.
  • Plan and execute signature fundraising events, ensuring they align with mission and brand.
  • Partner with leadership and Board members on donor outreach and philanthropic growth.
  • Serve as liaison to the Board’s Marketing & Development Committee and collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required; CFRE preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive fundraising or development leadership experience—healthcare or human services preferred.
  • Proven success in donor relations, major gifts, and event planning.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with donors, community partners, and internal teams.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive measurable results.
