Community Partners is the community mental health center, Area Agency for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders, the Family Centered Early Supports and Services and the Partners in Health provider in Strafford County, NH. In addition, Community Partners is the ServiceLink in Strafford and Rockingham County, NH.
From comprehensive healthcare for people with mental health conditions, to individualized services for people with developmental disabilities, to education and support services for relatives of clients, we help people across the lifespan. Annually, the Agency delivers high quality social services to nearly 5,000 people. Our dedicated staff of over four hundred cast a wide net. Our funders include Federal, state and local governments, plus foundations and individuals.
Our mission is to connect our clients and their relatives to opportunities and possibilities for full participation in their communities.
We serve people who experience emotional distress, mental health conditions, developmental disabilities, substance use disorders, chronic health needs, acquired brain disorders, as well as those who are in need of information and referrals to long-term supports and services.

About the Job
The Role:
The Community Living Certification Specialist oversees the monitoring of all aspects of the state certification and licensure processes that include, but not limited to record keeping, audits, state on-site visits, corrective action planning, yearly preparations, staff training, reporting to staff and management deficiencies and concerns. The Certification Specialist works closely with staff at all levels and in all departments of the agency and other agencies. This position does involve travel to different homes for state inspection.
We are looking to fill this role with a dedicated team player that is genuinely invested in serving our population, developing outstanding professionals and is committed to making a difference each and every day.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Services
- Must be self-motivated, able to multi-task and able to function effectively in stressful situations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment
- Must possess good public speaking skills
- Ability to utilize technology provided to perform requirements of the job
