CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER leads our FQHC toward success and sustainability, engaging with the GSCH Board of Directors, developing strategic plans, objectives, and actions. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization, including clinical and nonclinical operations, quality, risk management, finance, communication, strategic planning, and the development of external partnerships and donor relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS: 2+ years at FQHC; Excellent communication skills; Strategic thinking, visionary leadership; External partnerships, furthering GSCH’s mission; Donor relationship building; Master’s degree.

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Ability to work harmoniously with coworkers and patients; Experience with diverse, vulnerable populations; Organizational skills; Strong clinical and assessment skills; Compassionate attitude.

WORK LOCATIONS: Goodwin Community Health, Somersworth NH, Families First Health and Support Center, Portsmouth NH.

GSCH’S MISSION IS TO deliver innovative, compassionate, integrated healthcare and support that are accessible to all in our community, regardless of ability to pay. Our network of not-for-profit community health centers includes Families First in Portsmouth, and Goodwin Community Health in Somersworth. In 2022, GSCH provided 64,239 medical, dental and behavioral health visits to 14,061 patients. GSCH employs 250 employees and manages an annual budget of $23 million.

Strafford County Public Health Network and SOS Recovery Community Organization are affiliated with GSCH. We provide primary care, pediatrics, dental, prenatal, behavioral, SUD treatment, mobile healthcare, WIC, social work, pharmacy, parenting classes, playgroups and home visiting. Services are open to all and aim to be team-based, respectful, recovery-friendly, LGBTQ-affirming and trauma-informed. GSCH is recognized as Patient-Centered Medical Home and a Family Resource Center of Quality.
