Currently we are seeking a full time Accounting Manager in our Newmarket office. Starting salary range is $ 74,000 to $ 77,000

This position requires effective written and verbal communication with co-workers, managers, representatives of public and private organizations and with others to sufficiently exchange or convey information.

Under the direction of the Director of Finance, the candidate will work independently within established policy and procedural guidelines to perform a variety of duties.

The candidate will assist with meeting deadlines and following up on assignments with direction from the Director of Finance.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible for preparation of grant budgets, reports, and invoices.
  • Oversee the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and financial statement production
  • Oversee payroll processing

Qualifications:

  • BA in Accounting or Finance
  • Three to five years of experience in general ledger and financial systems, preferably in a supervisory capacity
  • Experience in a non-profit setting with grant experience a plus.
  • Proficient in excel
