Improving the health and wellbeing of all New Hampshire children

New Hampshire Children's Health Foundation

The New Hampshire Children's Health Foundation (formerly the HNH Foundation) is dedicated to improving the health and wellness of New Hampshire's population, especially the vulnerable and underserved.

The Foundation's focus areas for Responsive Grantmaking are promoting health eating or active living and promoting oral health for children age five and pregnant women.

Single year grants of up to $20,000, two-year grants of up to $60,000, and three-year grants of up to $90,000 will be considered.

The Foundation does not provide support to/for:

  •    biomedical research;
  • capital campaigns;
  • expenses already incurred;
  • fundraising events;
  • out-of-state projects that do not benefit New Hampshire;
  • sectarian or religious programs;
  • political activities;
  • international travel expenses; or,
  • organizations or projects that discriminate based on age, sex, religion, race, color, creed, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability, or national or ethnic origin.

The Foundation also provides support to pre-selected nonprofit organizations through Strategic Grantmaking.
