Foundation for Seacoast Health Grant Alert- Focused on Older Adults
It is well known that New Hampshire has one of the fastest growing older adult populations with nearly 20% of Rockingham County residents 65 years of age or above. The Foundation for Seacoast Health is seeking proposals from organizations that impact the health & well-being of Seacoast individuals over the age of 65. We want to hear from organizations that support older adults, and their caregivers, to live healthy & productive lives in the least restrictive environment possible, based on their individual circumstances. Recognizing that health and social service providers tend to operate in silos, often not by choice but by design, priority will be given to proposals that demonstrate collaborative efforts with other service providers. Preference will also be given to proposals that support individuals facing barriers to access such as income and inequities related to race, culture, gender, disability, etc.
We expect to award $100,000 during this grant cycle. The maximum request is $50,000. Organizations are encouraged to apply for new or existing programs.
The final grant type will be dependent upon the proposals selected for funding. Foundation staff will work with selected grantees to structure the grant to best meet the needs of the organization and those they serve. In some cases, multi-year general operating funding may be awarded.
The deadline for proposals is October 23, 2023. Grantees will be notified of their status by December 7, 2023.
