Spaulding Youth Center, located on a spacious campus in Northfield, NH, is a nonprofit dedicated to improving and enriching the lives of emotionally and/or intellectually challenged children, youth and their families. We seek talented people to join our professional staff who are committed to helping children and youth with autism, or neurological and behavioral challenges to achieve their full potential.

Spaulding Youth Center is seeking a Clinician to add to our highly skilled clinical team. The Clinician will provide individual and group therapy with a variety of both day and residential students as well as family systems focus. The Clinician role requires a combination of case management and clinical work. The Clinician will work closely with academic staff, residential staff, and other related service providers to deliver exemplary care to Spaulding Youth Center’s students and their families.

Strong clinical knowledge and judgment, organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for the Clinician. Skill in working with children from hard places, working knowledge of residential life and flexibility are encouraged. Candidates must have strong oral and written language skills as well as good computer skills. Candidates for the Clinician position should possess a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work or other related field that allows for clinical therapy with youth and family and have State of NH clinical certification or be license-eligible. Relevant work experience with similar population preferred.


Clinicians play a central role in collaborating with families and staff to produce positive outcomes for challenging children and youth. Successful candidates for the Clinician position will have experience providing trauma informed clinical services to children from a foundation of evidence-based practice. There are opportunities to work with a variety of clinical presentations across the areas of behavioral and emotional needs.
