Psychiatric/ Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Southern (Manchester) - Leading Federally Qualified Health Center in southern New Hampshire is seeking a full-time psychiatric ARNP to work in a collaborative team-focused environment. Excellent opportunity for someone who values an innovative environment and is dedicated and passionate in achieving better outcomes and providing excellent patient care. Position is eligible for Federal Loan Repayment Program.
Duties may include: evaluation treatment services; medication management; counseling services; brief treatment interventions; substance abuse assessments; and referrals to internal disciplines and/or external agencies for additional services including follow-up assessment of a medical condition by primary care physician, sub-specialty evaluation, social services, substance abuse, and mental health counseling. This position focuses on patients with psychiatric needs and is not part of the agencies’ MAT program.
Position requires a MS in nursing and a certified psychiatric ARNP license with the ability to prescribe medication in New Hampshire. Reports to the Chief Medical Officer.

Experience: One to 5 years of experience as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in a multi-disciplinary team providing primary health care to medically indigent families preferred.
