Master Level Clinician - North End Counseling (NEC)

Position Summary:  Master Level clinician to provide counseling in an adult outpatient setting specializing in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy, as well as, trauma recovery.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, crisis assessment and stabilization when needed, and strategic case management.  Responsibilities include:

  • Managing 45-55 clients

  • Maintaining clinical documentation

  • Supporting services that are provided.

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Individuals must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities and to possess the necessary physical requirements, with or without the aid of mechanical devices to safely perform the essential functions of the job:

  • Knowledge of CBT and evidence based practices;

  • Effective communication skills; critical thinking; suicide risk assessment;

  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team;

  • Willingness to enhance current knowledge base as to provide the most effective treatment for our clients;

  • Ability to access beginner’s mind; good organizational skills and ability to maintain electronic medical record

Qualifications:

Education:  Master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling or any related field of study that is eligible for licensure in the State of NH

Licensure/Certification:  Must be eligible for licensure in the State of NH
