Clinical Manager

Riverbend Community Mental Health

Founded in 1963, Riverbend Community Mental Health is a private, nonprofit organization providing specialized behavioral health services in central New Hampshire. Core services include 24/7 emergency mobile crisis services; counseling services for children, adults, and families; addiction treatment; and community support, vocational services, and residential programs for adults and seniors. Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking a full-time Clinical Manager to work in our CHOICES Substance Use Disorder Program. The Clinical Manager provides leadership to the Choices team including the provision of clinical care, staff supervision, fiscal accountability, risk management, and participation in short and long-range planning of services to meet the needs of the community. The Clinical Manager is also expected to conduct comprehensive assessments, bio-psycho-social intakes and psychotherapy to a small caseload of clients to supplement the clinical needs of the program.

Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Active NH License as LCMHC, LICSW, or Psychologist is required. 
  • Active NH License as LADC or MLADC preferred.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the NH community mental health system is preferred.
  • Experience in the medical system is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and collaborative skills are required.
  • A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance or access to a reasonable alternative is preferred.
Responsibilities:
  • Provides administrative and clinical supervision a team of Master’s level Clinicians.
  • Participates in program development and management.
  • Participates in community engagement.
  • Maintains regular communication with the Choices Program Director
  • Supports the management of grants and various funding options in the community
  • Coordinates with various outside agencies and other treatment providers including local primary care offices
  • Provides regular psychotherapy and intake assessments to a small caseload of clients.
