The Children’s Museum of New Hampshire Wins Coveted Museum Innovation Award

Arlington, MA – The New England Museum Association (NEMA) today announced that the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire has won the organization’s 2012 Leaders in Innovation Award. The award was for the museum’s acclaimed “Alzheimer’s Café” program, which welcomes multiple generations of families living with Alzheimer’s disease and forms of dementia, along with their care partners, into the museum on a monthly basis free of charge.

New Faculty Members Join Music School

Concord – Julieann Hartley, MT-BC, (Music Therapy Director) earned a bachelor of music degree from Anna Maria College, double-majoring in music therapy and psychology. She is a board-certified music therapist and a member of the American Music Therapy Association. Hartley has clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults with developmental, behavioral, emotional and psychological disabilities.

Elm City Rotary Marathons for Mayhew

Keene - Thanks to Rotary’s championing and generous $5,000 contribution, the Mayhew Program is sprinting forward in its efforts to help the more than 30 Monadnock area boys it serves run ever stronger toward their best selves!  For Mayhew, this was a most happy photo finish to an experience that began at the starting line several months ago with several other vibrant nonprofits requesting to be considered as the beneficiary of the Rotary’s DeMar Marathon.
