Waypoint SleepOut 2019 raises over $332,000

Approximately 130 people slept outside Friday night on the cold, wet ground, through whipping winds, in downtown Manchester. They were a part of Waypoint’s 5th annual SleepOut to raise funds and awareness to aid New Hampshire’s homeless youth.  So far, they’ve raised more than $332,000.

The Hannah Grimes Center Announces New Board President

The Hannah Grimes Center for Entrepreneurship has announced that Dr. Kim Mooney, President of Franklin Pierce University, will serve as President of the Board of Directors. Mary Ann Kristiansen, Executive Director of the center, said, "President Mooney has been an engaged board member since 2016 and we are happy to have her leadership on the board as Hannah Grimes continues to grow.

Arts and humanities groups partner on workplace programming

The New Hampshire Business Committee for the Arts (NHBCA), a statewide organization that promotes the intersection of art and commerce, and New Hampshire Humanities are partnering to promote Humanities @ Work, an initiative to offer NHBCA member businesses the opportunity to bring humanities-based programming into the workplace.

Susan DeRoy named as Citizens Count Executive Director

Citizens Count has named Susan DeRoy as its executive director. DeRoy, who recently stepped down as chair of the Rochester Economic Development Commission after eight years, is retired from serving as chair and development director for the Monarch School of New England.
