About the Job

Description

The Youth Specialist is a dynamic role in motivating, educating, and improving the lives of 16-24 year old Youth in New Hampshire. A typical day, your work might include:

  • Recruiting Youth to become eligible participants in Out-of-School programming, with a focus on the Healthcare sector.
  • Promoting and building your self-sustained program to reach the maximum number of community partners, occupational training, and career pathways for participants. 
  • Designing your schedule to best fit the needs of your participants. 
  • Working primarily independently, however, collaborating with other Out-of-School Specialists.
  • Data reporting in the NH Works database.

Please reach out if you have many of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple, competing priorities.
  • Experience working with Youth with barriers to entering the workforce.
  • Ability to do some traveling around New Hampshire, primarily the Lakes Region.
