Summary:

The New Hampshire Food Bank is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Warehouse Associate. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for order selection, loading and unloading trucks, receiving and stocking inventory, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, performing checkout functions, and driving the company box truck to pick up food from retail stores.

Duties:

  • Clean and maintain warehouse, coolers, equipment, and facilities to ensure cleanliness, security, and proper maintenance.
  • Select and stage orders for agencies, set up stock in shopping areas, rotate stock, and store salvage and boxed donations.
  • Receive and unload trucks, and prepare loads for shipping to member agencies.
  • Perform checkout functions and drive the company box truck to pick up food from retail stores.
  • Work as needed for special events such as food shows and fundraising, which may include some night and/or weekend work.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Food Safety License and/or Certificate desired.
  • Basic knowledge of material handling, warehouse, and inventory practices required.
  • Experience in warehouse operations preferred.
  • Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.
