About the Job

Description

Ausbon Sargent is a well-established and respected land trust serving a 12-town region and stewarding 166 protected properties. We have a committed membership base that supports our mission to preserve the rural character of the Mt. Kearsarge/Ragged/Lake Sunapee region. The Stewardship and Program Coordinator works with the Stewardship Manager regarding key aspects of stewarding our fee-owned properties and conservation easements held by the Land Trust. Stewarding includes working with volunteers to ensure the required monitoring and enforcement of our conservation easements is completed smoothly each year. Another component is to create and implement programming for the communities in our region.

A successful Stewardship and Program Coordinator is personable, organized, and interested in administering many different aspects of land stewardship and program management. Our small office environment requires flexibility and a team player attitude. Together we all assist in different outreach components, including but not limited to occasional evening and weekend work. To see the full position description visit www.ausbonsargent.org.

This full-time position is on-site in our New London office with regular outside activities on our protected properties. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and a retirement contribution. We foster a productive, fun, and supportive workplace.
