Residential Counselors

Pay Range: $18.00 and up DOE

Weekend Shift Differential

Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., one of the largest providers of community-based behavioral health services in New Hampshire, is seeking full-time people to work in our residential program,  at Mill, Twitchell or Fayette Houses.  We have a variety of schedules available including four 10 hour days, potential part-time or job sharing hours, 1st shift, 2nd shift...and per diem. LNA's are encouraged to apply!

As a Residential Counselor, you’ll be responsible for providing services and support to individuals living with mental illness, assisting them in their recovery, and helping them attain the goals they have set for themselves. If you are flexible — and possess excellent administrative and clinical skills — this could be a great opportunity!

Responsibilities

  • Assist in routine residential operations, including community integration and apartment hygiene.
  • Assist in managing activities and medication services.
  • Support residents in working towards their residential goals.
  • Ensure the safety of residents and other staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, rehabilitation, education, or human services is required.
  • One year of related work experience preferred
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, and some holidays
  • A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle with auto insurance is required
  • CPR certification, or willingness to become certified is required
  • He-M 1202 (medication management) certification, or willingness to become certified is required.
