About the Organization
Since 1974, Orion House has provided a safe, group home setting, for males within the DHHS System. Residents are placed through the court under abuse and neglect petitions or a delinquency petition and receive treatment based on their individual needs. The Orion House focuses on the strengths of the residents and families and works to co-construct a healthy reunification /permanency plan. The Orion House works daily at promoting the wellbeing of the residents by offering mentorship, healthy activities, nutritional meals, and engagement in age appropriate hobbies and interests.
About the Job
Orion House has open Residential Counselor positions for 2nd shift with a 4 day work week and 3rd shift with a 3 day work week.
Wages are competitive, employee benefits with a matching 401K opportunity is also available. Experience as a parent, other relevant experience or 2 years of college in related field is a requirement.
