Program Coordinator

The Friendly Kitchen is a non-profit soup kitchen serving meals to the hungry in Concord.  We serve over 85,000 meals annually through meals at our physical location and through our Family Friendly Meal Program.  Our Family Friendly Meal Program was established in 2021 and now has over 100 low-income working families in the program.  The ideal candidate will have passion for the mission of The Friendly Kitchen and serving those who are hungry and fighting food insecurity within our community.  The Program Coordinator will oversee our Family Friendly Meal Program.  The coordinator will work with community partners to identify those in need; recruit and manage volunteers; work with the Executive Director to create and collect quarterly data; and participate in and work with community organizations focused on hunger relief.  The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and interpersonal skills; and grant writing experience is preferred.  This is a part-time 15-20 hour a week position.  Flexible schedule.  Salary commensurate with experience.  A complete job description will be provided to those applying.
