Lakes Region Mental Health Center (LRMHC) is the community mental health center serving Belknap and southern Grafton Counties. We provide services to 24 surrounding towns, and nearly 4,000 patients each year. A non-profit, private corporation founded in 1966, Lakes Region Mental Health Center is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors dedicated to our mission. We provide integrated mental and physical health care to children, adults, elders and their families who are living with – and recovering from- mental illness and/or emotional distress. Our dedicated professionals provide the highest quality of healthcare and collaborate with many other organizations in the region to improve access to care and meet the mental health needs of the community. Lakes Region Mental Health Center is looking for a full-time Clinician to join our Mobile Crisis Response Team. The Clinician works with a team of professionals — including first responders, healthcare providers, and community-based agencies — to stabilize a psychiatric crisis, avoid hospitalization and/or incarceration, and initiate immediate community-based treatment. The Clinician performs evaluations in homes, hospitals, community and mobile-based milieus. The Clinician applies differential diagnostic skills, provides telephone triage, mental status assessments, collateral contacts with family supports, extended evaluations, resource screenings, referrals for psychiatric consults, and assessments for appropriate disposition.
QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or related discipline is required. Availability for night, weekend, and non-traditional hours required. A valid driver's license, personal vehicle and auto insurance is required.
