The Front Door Agency, Inc. for over 35 years has offered support and programs, fostered education to assist families and individuals transition from crisis to self-sufficiency. It is located in Nashua, New Hampshire and has a great reputation of serving families at-risk of homelessness in becoming independent through its Transformational Housing, Housing Stability, Affordable Housing, and Financial Literacy Programs.

Our main office/headquarters is located at 7 Concord Street, Nashua, NH 03064 and is open Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 and closed on Fridays.

Description

The Front Door Agency, Inc.(FDA)  is seeking a strategic, creative and high energy grant writing professional to build on past successes and take its grants program to the next level of effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity to play a leading role in a highly respected organization with a family friendly culture and a commitment to professional development of its staff.

Reporting to Chief Development Officer, the Foundations Relations Manager will be a key member of the Agency’s development team.   

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission of the Front Door Agency, a keen understanding of its programs and goals, and the ability to articulate the important role the organization plays in the lives of so many families in the Greater Nashua area. The position requires demonstrated experience in achieving successful grant support from private and governmental sources; and must have the ability to manage a comprehensive foundation database in order to meet critical deadlines of submission and reporting. The key role of the position will be to maintain, nourish and cultivate closer giving relationships with current foundation partners, research potential new partners, and work closely with the CEO on governmental proposals and contracts.  The ideal candidate must have strong organizational and planning skills, ability to think strategically and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

This position will be considered for part-time (25 hrs/week) and full-time (32 hrs/week). Opportunity for Flexible Hybrid schedule after initial 90 days.
