About the Organization
Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention (MCVP) is the domestic and sexual violence and stalking crisis center for the 44 towns of the Monadnock region. MCVP is a member program of the NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and a Monadnock United Way agency.
MCVP’s mission is to respond to domestic & sexual violence & stalking in our community by providing a care & support system for survivors and to work to end interpersonal violence in all forms through primary prevention, community engagement & collaboration.
About the Job
Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention (MCVP) seeks an Executive Director who is passionate about empowering survivors of domestic and sexual violence, stalking, and sex trafficking with the resources and support they need to thrive and live safer lives, free of violence. We seek a collaborative, mature professional who understands trauma informed approaches to care. Since 1978 MCVP has been the only non-profit agency in the region solely committed to working with community members experiencing violence in relationships. Using an empowerment model and trauma informed approach, MCVP addresses interpersonal power-based violence in two ways: crisis intervention and prevention education.
