The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, an award-winning theatre in Meredith, NH. The Playhouse is the region’s premier, year-round professional, community, and educational theatre producing 15-18 productions per year across its three divisions, along with educational programming, and a summer camp.

About the Job
The Winnipesaukee Playhouse in Meredith, NH seeks full-full time, year-round Director of Development
An essential member of the Playhouse’s senior leadership team, the Director of Development works with a small close-knit permanent staff to pursue the Playhouse’s overall mission of inspiring, engaging, and entertaining the people in New Hampshire’s Lakes Region and beyond. The Director of Development is primarily responsible for the planning, execution, and evaluation of all programming and initiatives related to building and maintaining contributed revenue at the Playhouse. Additionally, they are responsible, in collaboration with appropriate staff and other stakeholders, for some coordination of and reporting on the financial operations of the organization. The successful candidate will feel at home with, and have demonstrated skills in, cultivating and stewarding authentic connections with a variety of supporters. Though theatre-specific experience is less important, the Director of Development should be a passionate advocate of the Playhouse’s mission and be ready to represent the organization in various settings, both formal and informal.
Salary: $50,000 per year plus PTO and the option of employer-subsidized health insurance
