About the Job

Description

Greater Nashua Mental Health is looking for a full-time Deployment Support Specialist to join our Emergency Services (ES) Team! The Deployment Support Specialist provides administrative support to ES team during deployments, such as opening clients up to services, updating clinical record, gathering important insurance data, etc. Completes other administrative tasks such as scheduling of urgent care appointments, building security checks, managing ES phoneline. Monitors and supports clients in the apartments for brief periods to allow relief and deployment of other ES Staff. This is an office based 2nd shift position, Monday-Friday 4pm-midnight. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Provide administrative support to ES team prior to, during, and post deployment which includes updating charts in the EMH, gathering insurance information, coordinating deployments with the Access Point, law enforcement, and the deployment team. 
  • Complete other administrative tasks such as scheduling urgent care appointments, hospital discharges, tracking client admits and discharges, collaborating with local Emergency Departments about possible admits or discharges, etc. 
  • Respond to the ES Support Line and collaborating with Agency On-Call systems as well as community partners such as hospitals and police. 
  • Complete tasks maintain operational readiness such as routine safety sweeps of the building, routine upkeep of agency vehicle, light cleaning and maintenance of apartments and work spaces, etc. 
  • Assist in apartment admissions and discharges as needed
  • Monitor and support clients in the apartments for brief periods of time to allow for deployment and relief of ES staff. 
  • Complete special projects, administrative or operational tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent, prefer Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Services, Communication, etc.
  • Must have organizational, written and verbal skills. 
  • Basic computer experience, knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Email, Word, EXCEL). 
  • Successful candidates will be organized self-starters who enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments.
  • Ability to exercise judgment.
