Description

Catholic Charities New Hampshire is looking for a full or part-time Credentialing Coordinator to join our team of dedicated professionals. This position will work 21-35 hours/week, depending on candidate preference. The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring that our Mental Health Services counselors possess the proper credentials to practice in NH. Additionally, they oversee grant reporting for our various Social Services programs and initiatives. The position may also perform Accounts Receivable functions/collections for our Mental Health Services team, as time allows.

 

Job Responsibilities

· Compiles and maintains current and accurate data for all Mental Health clinicians

· Maintains copies of current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all providers

· Enters and maintains provider information in online credentialing database (CAQH)

· Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications with health insurance plans; monitors applications and follows-up as needed

· Assists with tracking license and certification expirations for all providers to ensure timely renewals

· Oversees grant reporting for various Social Services programs

· Uses Raiser’s Edge Database and spreadsheets from Development to monitor Grant Report deadlines

· Reviews individual grant packets to be familiar with award requirements and parameters

· Works with Program Directors to anticipate deadlines and to plan report compilation and completion

· Assembles report data and other related information using Program Dashboards and in conjunction with Program Director

· Works with clients and insurance companies to receive payment for Mental Health Services, as time allows

 

Job Requirements

· Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s degree a plus

· 3 years of experience working in an Office Manager, Administrative Support or Collections role

· Prior experience and/or knowledge of basic bookkeeping, required

· Some experience and/or exposure to credentialing practices, preferred

· Intermediate to advanced knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and SharePoint)
