New Hampshire PBS inspires one million Granite Staters each month with engaging and trusted local and national programs on-air, online, via mobile, in classrooms and in communities. Founded in 1959 as the New Hampshire Network, the station has evolved its identity and services over the years. From the New Hampshire Network to Channel 11 to New Hampshire Public Television, and as of October 1, 2017, New Hampshire PBS. The station’s new identity more strongly reflects its affinity with the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and its evolution as a multi-media public service provider.
NHPBS is a 501(c)3 multi-media, educational non-profit organization governed by a local Board of Directors. As the only statewide, locally owned and operated PBS member station, five transmitters carry the station’s signal to 98% of the Granite State, (and beyond). Over 200,000 students annually benefit from NHPBS' free, curriculum-aligned, educational services, while hundreds of thousands of online visitors access information and interactive content. NHPBS engages audiences via community screenings and events that spark meaningful dialogue and community connection throughout the Granite State. The station receives no state funding and is supported by nearly 22,000 members.

About the Job
The role of the Corporate and Community Relationship Manager is to secure underwriting and sponsorships for all NH Public Broadcasting programming, events, ticket opportunities and initiatives across all multimedia platforms. Work closely and in partnership with all departments at NH Public Broadcasting. This position reports directly to the Director of Development.
Essential Functions:
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, close, and maintain new and renewing community business partners including cash and trade accounts for all forms of program distribution, including on-air, online, streaming, podcasts, events.
- Maintain and manage an active pipeline of prospects through identification, qualification, cultivation, and stewardship efforts, delivering on all aspects of relationship management and engagement.
- Supervise all aspects of sponsorship agreements from contract development to underwriter fulfillment (on-air and online). Working in sync with Corporate Support and Development Marketing Coordinator to ensure completion of spot production and other fulfillment for all channels including web, newsletters, events, and social media.
- Educate sponsors about PBS and FCC regulations and guidelines and ensure compliance.
- Provide sponsors with proof of fulfillment.
- Work with business office to ensure timely billing and invoicing of sponsors and trade documentation.
- Negotiates underwriting and marketing packages, pricing, terms, and on-air (tv) copy that conforms to FCC regulations.
- Develop and manage annual department budget.
- Careful planning and monitoring of workflow to ensure timely renewals to maintain current funders.
- Engage the community at large; attend occasional community meetings or other functions as appropriate to support client cultivation and stewardship.
- Analyze market trends and data reporting.
- Attendance at scheduled team meetings for station projects and activities.
- Assists with other organizational activities as directed.
