New Futures Names Kate Frey as Advocacy Director

After eleven years as the Policy Administrator / Legislative Liaison at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) – Division of Public Health Services, Kate Frey will become the Advocacy Director at New Futures. Kate has also served as the Coordinator for the State Children’s Health Insurance Program at DHHS and as Executive Director of the State of New Hampshire Commission on the Status of Women.

Dr. Yvonne Goldsberry Joins Endowment for Health as Vice President for Programs

The Endowment for Health is pleased to welcome Yvonne Goldsberry, PhD, MPH, MSUP, as the foundation’s Vice President for Programs.  For more than a decade, Dr. Goldsberry has been engaged in New Hampshire’s public and private sector health environments.  She brings more than 25 years of experience in health policy and planning, as well as strong knowledge of the major social and economic influences on the health of vulnerable populations.  Dr. Goldsberry will be joining the Endowment in early December.

Cheryle Pacapelli Named Executive Director of Hope for New Hampshire Recovery

As a person in recovery from alcohol and other drugs for more than 25 years, Cheryle Pacapelli brings her lived recovery experience to her new role as Executive Director of Hope. Pacapelli has a ten-year background in nonprofit and program management. In the eight years she worked at Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery, she coordinated recovery walks with over 2,000 in attendance, held 375 events, and provided oversight for a broad network of volunteers. She is expected to assume her position by September 1st and will be located at New Futures.

New Hampshire Legal Assistance Announces New Executive Director

New Hampshire Legal Assistance (NHLA) announced today that Attorney Lynne Parker will become NHLA’s new Executive Director effective August 1, succeeding John Tobin, 65, who announced in January that he would retire this summer.  Tobin has led NHLA for eighteen years and been with the organization for nearly four decades.

Jordan Named Director of Advancement at Manchester Community Health Center

Manchester Community Health Center (MCHC) announced today that it has named Hope Jordan director of advancement. In her new role, Jordan is responsible for planning and executing comprehensive fundraising and related initiatives to increase donor support and promotion of MCHC. As part of these duties, Jordan will develop and maintain strong partnerships in the business and professional community while also overseeing grant development and marketing activities.

Well-wishers gathered in Concord on March 31 to mark the retirement of Sandi Van Scoyoc. Sandi served as the Foundation's first and only President for almost 15 years. The event was attended by current and former Board members, public officials, colleagues, grantees, and stakeholders in the field of children's health issues.

Keene – Cameron Tease comes to MUW with a rich history as a business professional and community volunteer with diverse management experience. He has lived and worked in the Monadnock region since 1982, and during that time he has held positions in insurance, risk management, and contract management at Peerless Insurance Company, Masiello Group, Northwestern Mutual, Markem Corporation, and Markem-Imaje Corporation.

HNH Foundation Program Officer Patti Baum Named Interim President

The Search Committee of the Board of Directors of the HNH Foundation has announced that Patti Baum, Program Officer, will serve as Interim President when Sandi Van Scoyoc, the current Foundation President, retires in April.  Ms. Baum has worked at the HNH Foundation for six years, managing its grants program that awards over $600,000 annually throughout New Hampshire.  She will resume her role as Program Officer once a new President is selected.
