New Hampshire Children’s Health Foundation Emergency Funding
In response to ongoing policy and budget shifts, New Hampshire Children’s Health Foundation (NHCHF) has created a one-time funding pool to help NH nonprofits address urgent, short-term needs. This support aims to ease the growing strain on organizations serving communities during a time of heightened uncertainty.
NHCHF emergency funding is available to New Hampshire 501(c)(3) organizations serving families with children ages 0–5 who face risks to their health and well-being—especially low-income, immigrant, and refugee families. Priority is given to nonprofits advancing economic security through services like housing, food access, caregiver support, and health insurance coverage.
Eligible requests must address one or more of the following:
Organizational restructuring due to an unforeseen funding gap
Costs related to transition services (e.g., legal, accounting, facilitation)
Legal services for immigrant and refugee families with young children
Matched or leveraged funds to help secure additional emergency support
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, with funding decisions made within three weeks of submission. This emergency funding pool is separate from NHCHF’s regular fall responsive grant cycle.
