Citizens' Champions In Action 2025: Mental Health & Well-Being

The 2025 focus for Citizens' Champions in Action is Mental Health and Well-Being. The Champions in Action award for Mental Health & Well-being will be given to a nonprofit organization that:

Provides direct access to mental health services and resources;
Delivers education and advocacy around mental health and well-being;
Is actively working to remove barriers to adequate care for the populations they serve; and/or
Is working to address root causes of mental illness via programming.

They are currently accepting applications for our next Champion in Action, which will be honored for six months.

Champion in Action winners will receive:

• $50,000 in unrestricted funding from Citizens
• Coverage and advertising support from the New Hampshire Union Leader
• Volunteer support from Citizens colleagues
• Promotional support in Citizens branches and on the Citizens website
