Enabled Upper Valley: Crafting an Inclusive Community

Mission
Responding to the community's call for more disability-inclusive spaces, the Special Needs Support Center (SNSC) has launched a strategic project, aiming to enhance accessibility for those with disabilities in the Upper Valley. We're seeking collaboration with local businesses, tourism hotspots, and public spaces to create an inclusive and equitable community.

Goals
Universal Access: Strive to ensure every visitor and resident, regardless of ability, can seamlessly enjoy all Upper Valley has to offer.
Education & Awareness: Create a community that comprehends, supports, and serves others with respect and an unwavering attitude of inclusivity.

Program Directives

Inclusive Collaboration: Partner with entities to support individuals with disabilities, promoting universal access and inclusivity through training and consulting.
ENABLED Certification: Establish best practices, assess businesses on-site, and offer training. “ENABLED” businesses are highlighted within our community. Practical Solutions: Free training and low-cost adjustments, incorporating feedback from those with disabilities for effective strategies.
