Helping your nonprofit create maximum impact.

My work in the nonprofit world has field my belief that equitable, sustainable change can happen in our communities when growth minded people and organizations work together. I wholeheartedly believe that you are the expert on your mission and the people you serve, which I use as the framework for all consulting projects. There is likely not enough time in the day for all you want to accomplish. That’s where I can come in. We will talk about what you want accomplished and then simply leave it in my hands for it to get done; just as you would have done if you had the extra time (or could clone yourself).

Description of Work Done
Jen Buteau provided professional development training to my staff on multiple occasions. She trained staff as parent education facilitators for the evidence-based parenting education curriculum, Positive Solutions for Families. Jen and I were the first two people in the state to become certified trainers in this curriculum by one of the trainers from Vanderbilt. We also attended master facilitation trainings together in Manchester, NH with other state leaders in the field of family support. Together, we collaborated to bring the experience of these two trainings to the Lakes Region and North Country of New Hampshire and co-created a course that would provide home visitors and recovery coach staff with a parenting education program that equipped them with the skills to effectively facilitate adult learning in a group setting.
Jen has been an excellent facilitator over the years. While my experience has been in Central NH and hers in the North Country, she has been exceptionally reliable and hard-working, despite travel and inconvenience, always 'pulling her own weight' in any project we have worked together to develop or implement. It has always been a privilege to work with her.
I am currently looking forward to using her gifts and talents more often as she moves to consulting work in our family resource centers and recovery centers in multiple capacities.
