About the Job
Educational Assistant
$25/Hour
Full-time (40 hours/week), school-year calendar position (180 days).
Second Start is looking for an educational assistant to work in a small group, middle school program at our facility at 17 Knight St., in Concord. This small group, intensive program has a staff of three and a student limit of ten, with students attending from 9am-1pm for a highly modified program, with personal growth as a central goal toward self-sufficiency and the ability to function in the larger school setting. A qualified applicant should have a Para II certification or equivalent and the ability to effectively reinforce professional staff lessons in all middle school subject areas. At least 1 year of experience working with children in an educational setting and experience or specialized training working with individuals with special needs is preferred. EOE
