Families First Grand Opening Celebrates New Location and Expanded Access to Care

Families First Health and Support Center celebrated its recent move to a larger facility in Portsmouth with a grand-opening celebration during National Health Center week. Families First moved into the 15,000-square-foot building at Greenleaf Woods last February, following a successful $2 million capital campaign. The move expands access to health care to Seacoast residents in need by opening up to a projected 3,500 additional patients by the end of 2024.

Portsmouth Elks #97 Selects Step Up Parents for Spotlight Grant

The Portsmouth Elks Lodge # 97 was awarded a $6,000 Beacon/Spotlight grant to support Portsmouth-based Step Up Parents, which provides financial assistance to relative caregivers who have stepped up to raise children of parents with substance use disorder. In a reception held at the Elks Lodge in Portsmouth, Governor Chris Sununu and Mayor Deaglan McEachern joined Elks members in presenting the grant, developed to shine a light on a community need.

Waypoint designated as ‘Family Resource Center of Quality’ in Manchester

Waypoint, at 464 Chestnut Street, Manchester, has been designated as a Family Resource Center of Quality (FRC-Q) by the Wellness and Primary Prevention Council of the NH legislature.
