Nonprofits Invited to Participate in NH Gives set to take place June 7-8

Hundreds of nonprofits are expected to participate in NH Gives - an initiative of the NH Center for Nonprofits - a powerful, statewide, 24-hour online fundraising event that is designed to build community, connect donors to local nonprofits and generate excitement about the nonprofit sector. “We’re encouraging nonprofits across New Hampshire to be part of the state’s largest day-of-giving,” said Kathleen Reardon, CEO of the NH Center for Nonprofits. “Nonprofits continue to step up to meet the needs of our communities and NH Gives provides a unique opportunity to galvanize support for them.” NH Gives provides nonprofits from every corner of New Hampshire with a platform to draw attention to their missions and let potential donors know how they can help in their own communities. Any 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit serving New Hampshire communities can participate in the day. Eligible organizations must register on www.NHGives.org prior to May 23.  Registered nonprofits receive training and marketing support. Now in its seventh year, NH Gives has raised more than $8.7 million since it started, connecting thousands of donors with hundreds of nonprofits.
