Step Up Parents Receives $5,000 Grant from Meredith Village Savings Bank Fund
Kinship families in the Greater Lakes Region, Plymouth and the Seacoast will benefit from the $5,000 grant given to nonprofit organization, Step Up Parents, from Meredith Village Savings Bank Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
Family Nurse Practitioner Tara Moore, FNP-BC, MSN, recently became a primary-care provider at Families First, the community health center in Portsmouth. She will see both adults and children at Families First.
Spaulding Academy & Family Services Expands Medical Team
Spaulding Academy & Family Services (formerly Spaulding Youth Center) has expanded its medical team with the promotion of Carolyn Brown (ARNP) to Primary Care Provider (PCP), and the hiring of Chandra Miller (MSN, RN, CPNP-PC) as medical director and Nicholas Lefebvre (RN) as health services director. This expansion enables the organization to accept and support children with complex medical and behavioral needs to its therapeutic Northfield campus.
The NH Center for Nonprofits announces the recipients of its 2021 Nonprofit Impact Awards to be presented at a virtual celebration on April 22. Cross Roads House and Building Community in New Hampshire (BCNH) will receive Nonprofit Impact Awards. The Harvard Pilgrim Healthy Community Impact Award will be awarded to Meals on Wheels of Hillsborough County (aka St. Joseph Community Services). Sylvia Dow, Executive Director of Visions for Creative Housing Solutions, and Amy Moore, Program Director for In-Home Care at Ascentria Care Alliance, will receive New Hampshire Impact Awards. Barry Brensinger will receive the Board Impact Award.
