The dual missions of Breakthrough Manchester are to launch promising Manchester middle school students, particularly those with limited opportunities, on the path to college while inspiring high school and college students to pursue careers in education.

Building Community in New Hampshire helps refugees in New Hampshire become Americans. Our case managers and 80 percent of our board members came to America as refugees, asylees, or immigrants. With grants, contracts, and donations, BCNH helps refugees find jobs, learn English, get medical care, enroll their children in schools, get a driver's llicense and evenutally their citizenship. 

Our mission is to protect marine life in the Gulf of Maine through research, education and inspiring action.  We were founded officially in 2001, but have been doing whale research since the late 1990's.

Bear-Paw Regional Greenways is a land trust with a mission to permanently conserve a network of lands that protects our region’s water, wildlife habitat, forests, and farmland.

Big Brothers Big Sisters has been serving youth, ages 6-18, in the Granite State for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported one-to-one relationships that change their lives for the better, forever.

The Belknap Mill Society is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to preserve the Belknap Mill as a unique historic gathering place and to celebrate the Lakes Region’s cultural heritage through the arts, education and civic engagement.  ​

Belknap House was formed as a 501 (c) 3 in Spetember 2013. Belknap House is a homeless shelter for families living in Belknap County.

Breathe New Hampshire is a well-established, 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has become an integral part of New Hampshire's public health landscape, focusing on critical issues related to lung health, such as tobacco use, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), asthma, air quality and lung cancer.

The Betty J. Borry Breast Cancer Retreats' mission is to support, empower and enhance the quality of life for women of all ages and stages of breast cancer through adventure based support opportunities in a retreat environment.
