Rochester Main Street

Rochester Main Street was founded in 2006 and is an officially designated member of the Main Street America network. Rochester Main Street is a nonprofit volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation, growth, and vitality of downtown Rochester.  With a myriad of special events and advocacy efforts each year, volunteers are continually working on a comprehensive program to revitalize downtown Rochester.

Rochester Main Street's efforts have included the refurbishment of Central Square and re-patination of the statue of Parson Main, improvements to Wyandotte Walkway, construction of Factory Court, and the establishment of signature annual events to draw residents and visitors into downtown Rochester.  The program is a recipient of a 2013 NH Preservation Alliance Award for the Central Square Project.
