Generation Change seeks to embolden others to be empathetic, compassionate and trusted change makers by providing education, instructional seminars, and mind-expanding experiences. As a 501c3 nonprofit, we design programs that teach life skills for leadership using the ripple effect: solo circle, inner circle, outer circle. While our primary focus is to help young people grow and develop, we also train adults on how to be positive mentors, all while building safe and uplifting cross-generational communities.
Generation Change currently coordinates three core programs designed to further its mission: Girls' Leadership Camp (GLC), Girl Captain and Boost. Our current focus serves young middle-school girls, high-school aged girls and college-aged young women. Incorporated in 2018, but in existence on the campus of Kimball Union Academy since 2010, Generation Change currently provides programming each year for approximately 200 youth in and around New Hampshire: 80 at GLC, our summer camp; 14 on our international travel program, Girl Captain, and over 100 collectively via our one-day seminars called, Boost.
