NH Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors Association

Founded in November 1985, the New Hampshire Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors Association/NH Training Institute on Addictive Disorders educates about alcohol and other drug related issues, as well as advocates on the issues pertinent to both NH citizens impacted by substance use disorders, and behavioral health professionals in substance use prevention, intervention, treatment and recovery.  NHADACA’s mission is to provide quality education, workforce development, advocacy, ethical standards and leadership for addiction professionals.  We empower efforts in prevention, treatment and recovery.

We are located at 130 Pembroke Road, Suite 100 in Concord, NH.  We have two beautiful and comfortable training/meeting rooms available for rent to community organizations.  We hold approximately 40 training events each year that assist in the professional development of mental health/behavioral health professionals in the areas of co-occurring disorders treatment, corrections, student assistance, substance use prevention and recovery services.  Through generous support and contract funding, from the NH DHHS Bureau of Drug & Alcohol Services, our events are highly affordable and raise the quality of substance use and other mental health services state-wide.
