Seacoast Family Promise

Located in Exeyeter, NH we have a 90% non-recurrent homeless rate and have placed 100% of our families into stable living envireoments with the tools necessary to succeed.


Position Summary

Provides a full range of administrative support to the Executive Director and other staff members. Types, distributes, and files a variety of reports, correspondence, and memos. Operates office equipment including PCs, copiers/printers.

Requirements:
  • Three -five years of solid administrative support experience
  • Excellent PC and business application skills
  • Strong Verbal Communication Skills
  • Self-Motivated, with Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Multi-task and work in a busy Office Environment
  • Experience with donor database input and reporting

Skills and Qualifications:

Education: H.S. Diploma; College degree preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Data entry to maintain donor and volunteer database information
  • Generates constituent and donor record segmentations for direct mail appeals, events and formal reports
  • Coordinates the acknowledgment of gifts, pledges, and pledge payments, matching gift claims, tribute gifts and other contributions.
  • Coordinates in-kind donations and the issuing of in-kind receipts
  • Prepares monthly income and development reports as required
  • Supports bookkeeper with donation allocation, copies of relevant information and database recording
  • Supports case management, community outreach, and public relations
  • Assists in the planning and execution of fundraising events
  • Conducts appeal and outreach processing, mail merge, non-profit postal management
  • Creates Annual Report layout, data compilation and production
  • Greets guests to the Day Center and coordinates with others to address their needs
  • Maintains grant, event, and meeting calendars
  • Develops and maintain a filing system
