Grants Administrative Assistant

NH Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence

The New Hampshire Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (NHCADSV) creates safe and just communities through advocacy, prevention and empowerment of anyone affected by sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking.

The above mission is accomplished by the Coalition, which includes 12 independent community-based member programs, a Board of Directors and a central staff working together to:  1) Influence public policy on the local, state and national levels; 2) Ensure that quality services are provided to victims; 3) Promote the accountability of societal systems and communities for their responses to sexual violence, domestic violence and stalking; 4) Prevent violence and abuse before they occur.

Perform grants reimbursement and invoicing coordination, including member program reimbursement reconciliations, and compiling invoices to state of NH.  Some bookkeeping tasks such as entering grants accounts payable and receivables. 

Assist with other grant record keeping functions such as AmeriCorps Victim Assistance Program (AVAP) member enrollment, and subrecipient monitoring.


Educational Level:  Associate's Degree in Business or equivalent experience.

Experience with MIP Fund Accounting preferred.

Skill Requirements:   

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically EXCEL and Outlook
  • Experience using Microsoft Office ACCESS
  • Excellent attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Flexibility and demonstrated ability to manage multiple, simultaneous deadlines

  • Review and follow up on member program grant budgets
  • Process and reconcile member program monthly and quarterly reimbursements
  • Compile monthly and quarterly grant invoices to the State
  • Maintain financial records; Insure proper filing of invoices
  • Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions in NHCADSV’s fund accounting software system
  • Assist with member program monitoring documentation compilation and review
