Administrative Assistant

Bi-State Primary Care Association

Bi-State was founded in 1986 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nonpartisan charitable organization with offices in Bow, NH and Montpelier, VT. The intent of this position is to be based in Bow, NH. Our Mission is to promote access to effective and affordable primary care and preventive services for all, with special emphasis on underserved populations in Vermont and New Hampshire. We support Community Health Centers to provide access to primary health care services including medical, oral, mental, and behavioral health care, treatment for substance use disorder, and community support services.  We work with federal, state, and regional health policy organizations and policymakers, foundations, and payers to develop strategies, policies, and programs that promote and sustain community-based, primary health care services. We provide advocacy, technical assistance, provider recruitment, education and training, and resource and information services.


Bi-State Primary Care Association seeks an energetic, self-starter to join our mission-driven team. The Administrative Assistant will support the work of the Recruitment Center through coordination with, and support of, Bi-State colleagues. This includes correspondence and scheduling, preparing and proofreading presentations, grants and reports, data base management, maintaining program administrative systems, maintaining files and records. Join us to assist with the daily planning and execution of programs, services, special projects, and initiatives. The Administrative Assistant will make all arrangements for a variety of special events, including but not limited to team meetings, trainings, stakeholder, and partner meetings.

Requirements:

Required skills include strong computer skills, oral and written communication skills, ability to meet deadlines and to work on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ability to maintain accurate office records and files, and the ability to provide accurate, timely written reports. Two (2) year college degree and three (3) to five (5) years of relevant work experience preferred, but not required.
