It has a great reputation of serving families at-risk of homelessness in becoming independent through its Transitional Housing, Housing Stability, Affordable Housing, and its Financial Literacy Programs.

Our main office/headquarters is located at 7 Concord Street, Nashua, NH 03064 and is open Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 and closed on Fridays.


The Front Door Agency, Inc.(FDA) is seeking an experienced, creative and high energy Housing Stability Program Manager to build on past program successes and help take its Housing Stability Program to the next level of effectiveness. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a highly respected organization with a family friendly culture and a commitment to professional development of its staff.

The position is considered full-time 35-40 hrs/wk Monday-Friday.  Salary commensurate with experience, with an excellent benefits package to include health, dental, life, short term disability, contributions to Simple IRA plan.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the mission of the Front Door Agency, a keen understanding of its programs and goals, and the ability to articulate the important role the organization plays in the lives of so many families in the Greater Nashua area. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Psychology or similar field; a minimum of three years of direct case management experience; be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite particularly; ability to be empathetic and sensitive towards the needs of low income individuals, particularly those unsheltered and who may have mental health or substance use disorder histories. Experience with Homeless Management Information Software is a plus.  S/he must possess strong verbal and writing skills, and must have a collegial, team-building style, be able to lift 20 lbs and be flexible to work between the hours of 8am-6pm. Bilingual is a plus. 

Responsibilities:

Reporting to CEO, the Housing Stability Program Manager will be a member of the FDA’s direct service and leadership team. S/he will be responsible for oversight of the Housing Stability Program providing critical assessment and case management services to families and individuals who are experiencing a housing crisis or are homeless. With the help of the Housing Advocate, the Director assesses applicants to determine eligibility for programs that best equip clients for permanent housing stability. The four key programs for which the Housing Stability Program Manager provides oversight and compliance review are; Homeless Prevention, Rapid Re-Housing, Housing Security Guarantee Program, and Financial Literacy. S/he will provide direction and guidance in establishing goals and creating accountability with clients ultimately achieving the goal of securing permanent housing stability and self-sufficiency. S/he will lead in service coordination and determine appropriate services/referrals needed; assist in finding housing options by establishing landlord partnerships; ensure client compliance with program rules and expectations; provide monthly demographic statistical reports and outcomes; represent the organization in community forums; and ensure compliance and accounting of all grant funded programming.
